How to change cortana search engine to google and the template browser to Firefox or chrome

A new ability of Windows 10 is cortana or Microsoft intelligent vocal assistant. By default, cortana is connected to the Bing searching service and the edge browser; but with some changes you can displace the default browser to Firefox or chrome and the search engine from bing to google.

Windows 10 is accompanied by an intelligent assistant named cortana. By the use of this vocal assistant you can search via vocal command using “edge” browser and the search engine ” bing”. But some users may not intend using these alternatives, so in the following we will see how to change the settings to use google search engine in chrome and Firefox browsers via cortana. To do this just change the default browser of windows 10 to crome or firefox. It’s so easy. To change the default browser in Windows 10 you should just make some few changes in settings. First click on setting in Windows 10 and then choose ” system group “. then go to ” Default Apps ” and change the web browser to the intended one.

To do this, you need to use the plug-in ” bing2google ” which transforms all searches you did to google search engine. After changing cortana’s default browser to Chrome and installing the intended plug-in in the browser, all searches done with Cortana will use Chrome and Google. It is the same for Firefox and after setting Mozilla Firefox as the default browser on Windows 10, using this plug-in it will be possible to do all searches via Google and Firefox.
