For special day I would usually do a few things the day before it or on the day itself depending on the timing.

If its a whole day event starting from the morning, I will do a deep conditioning hair treatment, scrub my face, lips and body, use a deep moisturizing face mask, do mani and pedicure on the night before. Spray a small of the parfum that I am going to wear for the date on my hair after towel drying and applying hair serum. Make a loose messy updo just to keep the fragrance in through to the next morning. Just a few spritzes and make your hair smell lovely.

If its an evening date, I will do all the above on the day itself.

But if time is not so sufficient, I will at least shower, wash my hair and blow it dry instead of letting it dry naturally (spraying the fragrance is a must for me) and do a quick yogurt mask.

Of course you have to be prepared for special dates everyday by taking excellent care of yourself but I just want to be better and feel that I’ve done something more for the special date.

Besides my usual makeup of a makeup primer to even out skin tone, gel liner and black volumizing blusher, I will add a nude color lip gloss to my colorless lip balm.
Usually I do not do anything special to my hair except for using some helps from crystal hair pins, bowed / flower headbands, simple updo with hidden bobby pins or otherwise just use volumizing mousse to curl it up.
